This past August, Citi Bike celebrated it’s 1,000th station in the Bronx with a socially-distanced unveiling of  a new mural by local Bronx artist, Andre Trenier. The mural commemorates the 1,000th station and Citi Bike’s commitment to providing access to transportation in the community. Trenier is a long time Bronx resident that has worked to capture the beauty and complexity of the Bronx through his art.

Sharp was charged with securing coverage of the mural unveiling and expansion news with top local media outlets. The team secured attendance from NY1, News12 and New York Daily News on-site to cover and shoot b-roll, including interviews with top spokespeople from Citi Bike and partnering organizations. We garnered 125 pieces of coverage, including syndication, from NY1, News12 (Bronx and Brooklyn) and WNBC. In addition to on-site broadcast coverage, we also secured a great piece in the Bronx Times that also ran on the print cover.
