For more than 10 years, Sharp has been working alongside Cosentino, the category leader in the production and distribution of innovative surfaces for the world of architecture and design. Last month, for the second year in a row, we headed to Cancun, Mexico for the company’s C.Next Design Summit, a four-day event that brings together talented designers across North America to discuss the themes and innovation shaping the future of design.
Our team worked as a true extension of Cosentino to plan and execute the event, including overseeing content development and production, collaboration with Hearst Design Group as media partner, and working alongside 15 different brand sponsors to conceptualize and execute their unique messaging and activations throughout the event. We organized, trouble-shot, and kept track of myriad details to help support a perfectly executed experience for the more than 120 attendees.
The result - four days of learning, networking, brand-building and fun that kicked off 2023 in a truly memorable way.To foster deeper relationships, programming explored unexpected themes and formats - with a particular emphasis on connecting brands and designers without feeling like a sales pitch. The final agenda ranged from tapping a therapist turned interior designer to discuss how to design intentional spaces, to hosting holistic wellness practitioners for a traditional Mayan elemental blessing ceremony and more for a truly unique and engaging experience.
