‍Widely regarded as the world's preeminent fair for fine art, antiques, and design, TEFAF has held its annual edition in Maastricht, The Netherlands for more than 30 years and, with Sharp’s support, launched satellite fairs at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City beginning in 2016. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, TEFAF nimbly shifted to virtual offerings in 2020 and safely returned to in-person events in 2022.

Celebrating the return to in-person fairs, Sharp once again led the PR strategy for TEFAF NY and U.S. media relations for TEFAF Maastricht. Garnering over 1 billion impressions, the campaign for the NY fair encompassed placements across all key media categories, from arts and design to business and luxury and generated stories across key messages, from the TEFAF Museum Restoration Fund and highlights of the 91 international exhibitors to creative pitches on the unique elements of the fair experience. Beyond traditional media relations, Sharp also continued to manage a successful partnership with Architectural Digest, attracting more than 50 leading interior designers to a special preview event and producing exclusive fair highlights for that outlet.

For TEFAF Maastricht, Sharp worked alongside a network of international press agents to continue and extend the fair’s reputation globally and manage its temporary shift in schedule from March to June. Sharp led a press trip for more than a dozen journalists and influencers and all media relations for outlets based in the United States, ultimately resulting in an additional 1 billion impressions for the Maastricht fair.
