Building on the momentum from our fall HPMKT engagement with Sherwin-Williams, Sharp once again developed a designer engagement event during Spring Market to nurture relationships between the designers and the beloved paint brand.
We developed a vibrant cocktail hour experience and seated dinner event that consisted of two key components:
(1) landing a top media partner, Veranda Magazine, and co-host Steele Marcoux, to help secure 27 of the industry’s top design talent
(2) creating numerous brand experiences to engage our guests and connect with Sherwin-Williams in elevated and memorable ways.
The evening unfolded with a vibrant cocktail hour designed to spark connection between renowned designers, Sherwin-Williams and Veranda representatives while mingling in the cozy garden of the O.Henry Hotel before dinner.
During cocktail hour, we curated a color-inspired wine-tasting experience in collaboration with a local wine expert to interpret the Designer Color Collection: Classic + Collected palette. The bar display featured 5 elegant decanters, each filled with a colorful wine that spanned white, red, rosè, orange - and even a rare, blue wine. (No surprise, the blue wine was the most talked about!).

What’s more, we added a playful and memorable touch, the Veranda cover star photo booth, inviting guests to step in front of the camera and grace their own floral cover dreams. The photo experience created a personalized, share-worthy moment that blended immersive color & glamour with an editorial charm, perfectly aligning with our partnership with Veranda.

Following cocktail hour, guests were welcomed into the Pavilion dining room that beautifully embodied the airy and light vibrance synonymous with Veranda Magazine. The tablescapes were inspired by the Classic + Collected palette, and each dinner course was paired with a thoughtfully selected wine by our expert, adding another layer of sensory indulgence to the evening.

Sue Wadden, Sherwin-Williams Director of Color Marketing and co-host Steele Marcoux, Editor-in-Chief of Veranda, welcomed guests with a toast and inspired them to embrace their own creativity and imagination through color.
At the end of the event, each guest received a surprise parting gift- a curated tote filled with colorful items inspired by Spring & the Classic + Collected color palette. Totes included all the essentials for a colorful spring picnic, and guests were shipped a bottle of their favorite wine from the tasting experience to complete the set.
