Sharp is pleased to highlight our expansion of Public Relations and Social Media services for a growing practice of Arts and Culture clients: international art and antique fairs, galleries, and educational and performing arts institutions. These eminent clients join the prestigious Winter Antiques Show, a Sharp client since 2014.

Pebble Hill Plantation Museum: This Fall, Sharp will support an outstanding exhibition of important wildlife paintings at Pebble Hill Plantation Museum in Thomasville, GA. The collection, "Wild in the Country," originates from the Genesee Country Village and Museum, a 19th-century living history museum located in Mumford, New York. Pebble Hill Plantation and the Genesee Museum are both renowned for their collections of important Sporting Paintings.

In November, Sharp will lead a Press Tour from New York to Pebble Hill Plantation for the opening of "Wild in the Country." The media from New York as well as journalists from the Southern Region will be able to see the special loan exhibition first-hand as it opens to the public. The visiting media will also have the unique opportunity to tour the major collections of the Pebble Hill Museum, including its world-class collection of decorative arts, and antique furniture and furnishings.

TEFAF: Widely regarded as one of the world's preeminent art and antiques fairs, TEFAF has brought together renowned artists, collectors, dealers, museum and gallery leaders, and connoisseurs to its annual edition in Maastricht, The Netherlands each March for more than 30 years.

With Sharp's support in 2016, TEFAF successfully launched two satellite fairs at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City: TEFAF New York Fall (October), dedicated to fine and decorative art from antiquity to 1920, and TEFAF New York Spring (May), focused on modern and contemporary art and design. Alongside a traditional PR strategy, Sharp developed strong social media and influencer campaigns—harnessing the support of leading journalists, online influencers, and interior designers—to help introduce the TEFAF brand to American audiences.

As TEFAF New York Fall approaches, Sharp is continuing to build momentum by rolling out a robust roster of innovative programming, institutional loan exhibitions, and sponsorship programs that cement the fair's reputation as the greatest of its kind in the world.

Adrian Sassoon: In November, Sharp will work alongside Adrian Sassoon—the United Kingdom's premiere gallery for international, contemporary works of art— at The Salon Art + Design in New York City for the first time. Sassoon's presentation at The Salon will feature works by some of the world's leading artisans who are melding traditional techniques and materials with cutting-edge technologies (such as 3D printing) to create innovative and luxurious objects.

Together with the gallery, Sharp has developed a strategy that highlights the individuals represented in the show, including Kate Malone, Junko Mori, Hiroshi Suzuki, Michael Eden, as well as Adrian himself. In addition to developing materials promoting Sassoon at The Salon, Sharp is organizing a series of opportunities for one-on-one and small-group engagement with Adrian and select artists around the fair's opening to facilitate more nuanced conversation about the gallery, this special installation, and its future trajectory.

University of the Arts, Philadelphia: Established in 1876, the University of the Arts is one of the nation's only universities dedicated solely to educating students in the visual and performing arts and design.

Sharp is currently supporting UArts through traditional PR and social media campaigns. Special projects include promotion of the University's award-winning Z-Big Band's performance at the Monterey Jazz Festival and the recent acquisition of the historic Philadelphia Art Alliance by UArts. In addition to these two distinct milestone events, Sharp is handling ongoing press introductions and strategy development with UArts in the coming months.

The Winter Antiques Show: The Winter Antiques Show, a benefit for East Side House Settlement, marks its 64th year as the most prestigious art, antiques, and design fair in America, featuring the "best of the best" from antiquity through the present. Held at the historic Park Avenue Armory in New York City, the Show provides new and established collectors, curators, dealers, and design professionals with opportunities to view and purchase exceptional pieces showcased by 70 exhibitors.

For the past four years, Sharp has been instrumental in bringing awareness to East Side House Settlement while promoting the Winter Antiques Show and its exhibitors, its Opening Night Preview Party and Young Collectors Night - a much-anticipated high point of the social calendar in New York City, for which handles PR and event production. Sharp also implemented a highly successful Honorary Design Chair Program, which is aimed at increasing interior designer engagement at the Show and its events.Interested in partnering with Sharp?
