HI-CHEW has long been known for its chewy texture and bold fruit-forward flavors. With the debut of its Getaway Mix, the brand took its flavor innovation to new global heights. New flavors – Mango Chamoy, Mai Tai, and Yuzu Lime – were inspired by international flavor favorites and unlike anything the brand had released before. To help launch the mix in a way that matched its wanderlust theme, Sharp was tasked with creating an experiential moment that would stop consumers in their tracks.

Our Solution

During one of the busiest travel seasons for our Gen Z audience - spring break - Sharp transformed part of Miami International Airport into the HI-CHEW Getaway Mix Layover. Designed to surprise and delight jet-setters en route to their vacations, the 11-day branded activation blended HI-CHEW’s globally inspired flavors with whimsical travel moments. Travelers were invited to immerse themselves in the brand through multiple interactive touchpoints: a playful hot air balloon photo station provided an instant escape, while custom HI-CHEW luggage tags and stickers gave carry-ons a flavorful makeover. Guests also had the chance to meet Chewbie, HI-CHEW’s lovable mascot.
Sharp engaged five Miami-based influencers to amplify the reach of the activation. This strategic collaboration yielded impressive results, generating over 132,000 impressions and more than 1,500 engagements across Instagram. The curated content from these influencers resonated deeply with their audiences.

The REsults

During its 11-day run, the HI-CHEW Getaway Mix was more than just a brand activation – it became a moment of pause, play, and discovery for travelers during one of the busiest travel weekends of the year. To make a splash with the media, Sharp leveraged assets from the activation to secure coverage in key consumer publications.
