Sharp News – New Business and Hires

by Sharp | November 17, 2014

The Sharp team has been busy heading into the end of the year – and especially busy due to some recent wins that are closing out 2014 and heading into 2015. This week’s edition of the O’Dwyer’s Newsletter included highlights of some of these wins, which include:

  • Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business hired Sharp’s PR team to burnish the Florida MBA program
  • JP Morgan Tournament of Champions enlisted Sharp’s PR and Social Media teams to drive attention to the world-renowned squash tournament, returning this January to Grand Central Station
  • Blessing Basket Project, a non profit that employs weavers from third-world countries to make baskets sold in the U.S. hired Sharp’s PR team
  • MLV & Co. tapped Sharp’s Creative team for corporate identity work for the investment bank and broker dealer
  • Okapi Partners, a proxy solicitation and invest response firm, tapped Sharp’s Creative group for a website redesign

Our teams are off and running on these exciting new clients and we look forward to much success with them over the coming months and new year!

New Hires

In addition to all of the new business, Sharp is pleased to add a new member to our Social Media team. Mary Parhiala comes to Sharp with a strong background in Social Media from Hawkins International PR. Her experience in the luxury travel sector easily translates to Sharp’s portfolio of clients and we look forward to seeing the exceptional work she produces!
