So you wanna be a rock 'n' roll star? Well, listen here, to what I say…Wansoo wants just
that. Which isn’t surprising seeing that, as an accomplished guitar player (no, not
Guitar Hero), his idols are Hendrix, Dylan and Lennon. Well, he also happens to be
a very talented graphic designer here at Sharp Communications and owes his design
inspiration to album covers, which is cool because that was the Genesis (ha ha) for
the Sharp Web site design. Wansoo hails from Osaka, Japan so don’t get him started
on the Hanshin Tigers or the difference between his hometown and Tokyo. Before
the long and winding road here, Wansoo learned his stuff at Parsons and Pratt before
cutting his teeth at MoMA and Unit Branding as a designer working on everything
from logos, advertisements, posters and Web sites. As far as the rock star thing,
well, we’re okay with it; I mean who doesn’t want to be a rock star, right?
