Jim got his start out of Brown University at Saatchi & Saatchi (where he met Bob) working on Johnson & Johnson. Jim moved over to Bates to further fine-tune his healthcare experience and then jumped the fence to the PR side, working for Superior Healthcare Group, Inc. (Kendall Corp.). Intent to broaden his areas of expertise, he followed his nose to the affluent marketplace to work with esteemed brands like OMO Norma Kamali and Giorgio Armani Le Collezioni.
In 2001, while in his apartment in his bathrobe, Jim started Sharp Communications, and literally walked down the street (not in the robe, of course) to knock on doors for business. It worked (he is persuasive), and before long, he was renting office space and hiring staff. The Client base represents his knowledge and expertise ranging from the arts and financial services to healthcare and education.
