Friday 5: Best Outdoor Spots in NYC

It’s Friday, and the warmer weather is finally here, which means we’re so close to Summer Fridays! While we still have a few weeks before those amazing days come into play, here at Sharp we’re exploring the beautiful weather in some other ways. Here are my top 5 favorite places to enjoy dinner and drinks outside in NYC:

Mr. Purple: There’s something so fun about this Lower East Side spot. Atop of the Hotel Indigo, the cocktails are flowing and the view is incredible. Perfect for girls night out to grab drinks and light bites.

Southwest Porch @ Bryant Park: If you’re looking for a chill spot to go after work with some friends, this is the perfect place for you. Right in the middle of Bryant Park, Southwest Porch offers drinks, lawN games and great company. If you arrive early, you can even take a swing.

Frying Pan: This is one of my all-time favorite warm weather spots! The food is delicious, nothing you’d expect from an oldtime Maritime boat. Drinks are not too expensive, and super delicious. Frying Pan is the perfect spot to enjoy with friends on a beautiful weekend.

Salvation Taco: I’m a sucker for all things Mexican food, so this is a must! I suggest pairing up a watermelon margarita and some guacamole and chips. Once your whole squad arrives, you can grab a table and enjoy delicious tacos, Mexican corn, and I’m sure some more margaritas.

Westlight: If you’re looking to get out of the city, but not be too far away, I highly recommend Westlight at The William Vale. You can have a romantic dinner downstairs at Leuca with your loved one, and make your way upstairs for drinks while starring at the breathtaking city skyline.
