Expanding the Sharp Design Portfolio
by
July 3rd, 2012

There’s been a lot of buzz this spring that design is back in a big way.  We’ve seen the launch of several new magazines to the shelter category and the revival of some old beloved ones who had hung their hat for a while.  Here at Sharp our design portfolio is buzzing too with the addition of the three new brands to our expanding portfolio.

The first new addition that we are excited to announce is industry giant Kohler.  For the mother ship of all things kitchen and bath, Sharp will be executing a PR project to launch “Kohler Colors featuring Jonathan Adler”, an incredible special edition collection of cast iron sinks in vibrant bold hues designed in collaboration with the king of color himself.  We just love how these fresh colorful sinks pop to make a punchy design statement.  If you attended ICFF, you may have had a sneak preview at the Kohler booth.  Otherwise, look out for them soon in a magazine near you.

Second up, we are very excited to now be working with Pollaro for PR, media planning/buying, and website redesign for the Chinese market.  Pollaro creates museum-quality custom furniture and architectural cabinetry.  Known for their recreation of early 20th century iconic furniture by designers like Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann, Paul Dupre Lafon, and Armand Rateau, Pollaro creates one-off custom pieces for architects, interior designers, and high-end residential clients.  We love a good throwback to Art Deco glamor.  As such, the new acquisition fits well within Sharp’s wheelhouse.

Lastly, our PR team is also excited to be diving in to the fantastic home furnishings of Milano Smart Living, a line of luxury convertible, multi-purpose sofas, tables and consoles, thus the term “smart furniture for modern living.”  With design, function and comfort at the forefront of product innovation, we know this clever Italian brand is right on trend with contemporary design in the U.S.

With these new client additions, it’s going to be a busy summer…
